Loring Bullard, Executive Director
Loring Bullard graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1974 with a B.S. degree in Biology. He worked for the Springfield Greene County Health Department for 13 years, the last 6 serving as Supervisor of Environmental Health. In 1989, Loring became Executive Director of the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks. Loring serves as the CEO of this not-for-profit corporation, and has administered over $3.2 million in grant funding for watershed projects. Loring and his wife Carol live in Springfield and have two daughters. Loring and his family enjoy canoeing, fishing, and hiking.
Matt Keener is a graduate of Missouri State University with a Masters degree in Biology. While at MSU, his studies focused on fisheries management and stream ecology. Matt also holds an M.S. in ministry and a B.S. in biology from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. Matt was previously employed with the Missouri Department of Conservation as a Resource Aide in the Fisheries division. Matt greatly enjoys the aquatic resources Missouri has to offer and is enthusiastic about his opportunities at WCO in helping preserve and restore the regions water resources. Matt and his wife Sara live in Battlefield with their son Braden and Labrador Kizer.
Mike Kromrey, Education Outreach Coordinator
Mike Kromrey joined the staff in May 2006 as our Education Outreach Coordinator. He has previously worked with the James River Basin Partnership, Missouri Department of Conservation, and Missouri State University while attending MSU. Mike earned a comprehensive biology degree with an emphasis in ecology, evolution, and systematics. Mike completed his masters of science in biology focusing on aquatic ecosystems. While attending school, Mike was also part of several organizations focusing on the environment and experiential education. Mike, wife Mary, and newest addition Eli are Springfield residents, and enjoy spending time in the outdoors (often with a canoe and fishing rod). Mike has grown up in Ozark streams and is enthusiastic about fostering sound watershed principals in the community.

Stacey Armstrong, Projects Coordinator
Stacey joined the Watershed Committee staff in March 2007. Stacey is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography. She is currently working on completing degree requirements for a Masters of Science in Geospatial Sciences from MSU. Stacey’s background includes environmental work related to GIS, geomorphology, water quality, cartography and planning. Stacey enjoys living in the Ozarks and is dedicated to protecting the environment and water resources in the area.
Kelly Guenther, Office Manager
Kelly joined the Watershed Committee in October of 2006. She has an Associate of Arts degree from OTC and is currently attending Drury University Evening College. Kelly is a southwest Missouri native who loves the outdoors and the Ozarks. Kelly and her husband live in Springfield and they have one son and three cats.
